“Shaun Harris’s niece, Dhu, died while being held in police custody in the iron ore mining town of Port Hadland”

“This town is north of the city of Perth in Western Australia”

“Shaun Harris was the main speaker for the family, who have waited for over a year to find out why she died”

“Julieka Dhu was a healthy twenty-two year old”

“The verdict at the inquest was that she died from severe staphylococcal septicaemia and pneumonia”

“This developed after complications from a broken rib”

“This twenty-two year old Aboriginal woman was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines”

“These resulted in other offences, one of which was for assaulting a police officer”

“On her first night of being locked up, Dhu complained of severe pain to her right side”

“She had been in this severe pain for over an hour before she was taken to hospital”

“It was suggested by the police at the inquest that Dhu had been faking her pain”

“The doctor, who saw her, failed to make a diagnosis and put it down to behavioural issues and she was discharged”

“The next night Dhu was returned to the hospital”

“Again they said that she had behavioural issues and again no formal diagnosis was made”

“Finally Dhu awoke to the final stages of severe septic shock”

“It was the CCTV footage, which showed Dhu being handcuffed and dragged to the floor of her cell”

“Later she was carried by police to the back of a police vehicle”

“An hour later she was dead”

“Shaun Harris said, “She died because she was a black woman, which is the worst thing to be in this country””

““Had she been a white woman, she would have got better care””

Julieka Dhu’s inquest was only brought forward by a public campaign”

“Her death was the most highly profiled Aboriginal death in police custody”

“That is since Ward, an Aboriginal elder, was cooked to death in the back of a police vehicle in 2008”

“Deaths in custody for the indigenous Australians has been an ongoing issue since 1980’s”

“They are comparable to the Black Lives Matter movement in the US”

“For many, the death and final days of Dhu have touched upon every issue currently facing Western Australia’s Aboriginal people”

“In 2004 Aborigines made up 3% of the population, but represented 40% of the state’s prisoners”

“Western Australian Labor Party statistics show the number of Aboriginal women arrested for defaulting on their fines has increased”

“It has increased by 576% since 2008”

“The policy of the Western Australian Government are pushing to close remote Aboriginal communities”

“They have already slashed funding for Aboriginal health services”

“It is the slow but determined pressure to eradicate these people off their lands and very little is done to prevent this happening”

“Australia is doing ethnic cleansing and this will not bode well with the Australian people in the long term”

“The Australian Government cannot supress these Aborigines indefinitely”

“Worldwide opinion will strongly be against them regardless of what they might think”

“As the world dominance is about to change, many will see it as a relief, when in fact the reverse is true”

“The powerful nations will all have their interests in the Middle East and where further shoring up of lands will be done”

“It is all about vested interests and nothing about the people”

“The Arab world has lost their control over their own territories, because of their short-sightedness”

“They have sacrificed their own people for the power they wish to exude over them”

“Other powerful nations are now going in for the kill and they will be relentless”

“Their interest in land and oil is far more important than saving lives, which are cheap and irreverent”

“The sadness of this scenario is that it will cause a backlash amongst these important nations”

“As with all wolves in a pack, they can’t all get the best prize”

“This will entail a carving up of land and amenities, where conflict within these nations will occur”

“This will send warlike tremors around the world”

“No one is innocent in these strategies”

“All are guilty of greed and power for themselves as colonial powers, who do not know how to stop”

“There will be important backlashes, where much gesturing and pontification will be seen”

“Then once they have carved up the spoils of their entanglements they’ll back off, satisfied that they have got all they can out of the deal”

“The map of the Middle East will be changed forever”

“It is the fault of the Arab Kingdoms, who are not aware of the strategic plans of the higher powers”

“Because they have left the doors open, they have lost control over their own territories”

“Until the Arab world unites to combat colonial forces, they will see their Kingdoms gradually being eroded in front of their eyes”

“The tragedy here is that it all could have been so different, but no one wants to take the right advice”

“All think that by sleeping with the devil, they can be exonerated from their own crimes of deceit and avarice”

“Their mistakes will hit them hard”

“The full realisation that they have sold their people to a higher power will eventually contribute to their own downfall”

“None are so blind as those who will not see!”

“The need to know is now very important in one’s life today”

“It is only when we obtain the right information that we are in a position to be able to make the right decisions that affect us”

“The media of today tends to have a biased opinion or they are controlled by the State”

“The people are not fully able to glean the right facts and so mistakes are often made”

“The only way to obtain the truth is to search one’s soul and get Divine Guidance coupled with the facts”

“For most of us that is impossible, but if you know where to go for that right information then lives & livelihoods are saved for all time”

“Mediums, seers, are able to link in with the Universal Intelligence, the font of all knowledge, for past, present and the future”

“In the olden days, wars were fought and won on the advice and information given by the mediums to the rulers at that time”

“Their knowledge and wisdom were invaluable.  It was revered and respected, so the outcome was always good and productive”

“Mankind today has grown in arrogance, thinking only that they have all the knowhow and the facts”

“Look at the mess they are now in”

“Until the wise men and women who have Divine Gifts of mediumship are consulted, there are too many unknowns that have to be dealt with”

“This leaves no clear insight as to what to do or the right direction to take”

“Man’s arrogance and intransigence is why the world and its people are in the state that they are in”

“It is high time for those who are wise and learned take up their seats on the councils of this world”

“They must forge ahead with a better response to save Mankind from blowing themselves out into eternity”

“The call is loud and clear”

“When will the right people in power begin to realise that they do not command all the answers”

“They must now bow down to a Higher Command, who knows all!”

“In world events, such as the assassination of J.F. Kennedy, it was predicted”

“The Twin Towers 9/11 was predicted”

“The financial bubble bursting was predicted”

“These facts are nothing new and they occur daily/hourly”

“When will Mankind wake up to the Higher Intelligence that surrounds them?”

“Because they cannot see it, they do not trust in its authenticity”

“Yet it is always there to assist those who are really interested in learning from its advice and guidance!”

“We are all entering into a phase of much upheaval and uncertainty”

“Governments around the world are at a loss to know how to deal with IS and see their only way out is to destroy at all costs”

“Bombing and maiming is all that they know. They feel that reasonable argument will fall on deaf ears”

“The only way to destroy IS is to dismantle their ideology as being false and destructive”

“The only way to break it is at the very roots of their thinking and planning”

“All this can be done by the Arab world themselves, who must now take their responsibility to new heights of exposure”

“No longer can they hope, even expect, the West to fight their battles for them”

“The monster/genie is out of the bottle and it needs to be dealt with at its very root core”

“This is to literally cut off all funding supplies, so that it can no longer survive”

“Until the Arab world come together to do the right & decent thing for all, they will continue to be slaughtered in their tens of thousands”

“No one should ever expect the western ideology to deal with the eastern philosophy and ideology”

“The two systems are incompatible, where human rights in the Middle East are a sham and life for many is cheap and irrelevant”

“There needs to be a collective responsibility for the Arab Kingdoms to put their differences aside”

“They must come together in order to deal with IS in ways that only they are able to do”

“It’s when the right thinking plan emerges that the right way is always shown and where all can save face by doing what is right and honest”

“IS will be defeated, but not at the hands of the western powers”

“It can only be achieved by the Arab world themselves, which is the only right way that it should happen”

“Divided they continue to fall. Together, united, then peace can be restored in the Arab Kingdoms for all”

“‘The light and the way’ is not difficult.  It is only Man’s intransigence that makes it so!”

“Kenyan women are going through great difficulties, as they are dealing with the consequences of not being allowed to have abortions”

“Meanwhile the Catholic Church is stamping its authority on them”

“At this time the leading cause of maternal deaths is unsafe abortion, according to the Kenyan Ministry of Health”

“Doctors have voiced their concerns by saying…”

“…“We like to call ourselves a Christian country and that ends up meaning we don’t want to respect people’s voices””

““We want to mix religion with obstetrics and gynaecology””

“In the meantime Kenya is watching women die, mothers die and daughters as well die”

“The Kenyan Ministry of Health reported in 2012 that 157,762 Kenyan women received care”

“This care was because of complications resulting from induced and spontaneous abortions”

“Of those receiving care, 37% of them suffered from severe complications, such as sepsis, shock or organ failure”

“Pope Francis has been lauded for his liberal views on climate change and poverty”

“But he stands firm on the Church’s opposition to abortion”

“In 2012 the Kenyan Constitution, to great fanfare and controversy, liberalised Kenya’s near complete ban on abortion”

“It stated abortion was legal when dealt with by a trained health professional, especially where there was a need for emergency treatment”

“This treatment was for the life and health of the mother who was in danger”

“This is written in the Kenyan Constitution”

“What needs to be further debated in Parliament is the continued interference by the Church over the welfare of women”

“This is unconstitutional”

“When women do not want their pregnancy, no amount of bullying by the Church will change a women’s mind”

“If they cannot obtain it legally, which is their right to have they will obtain it by the backdoor method and put their lives in danger!”

“The short-sightedness by the Church continues, women will never be dictated to by the Church”

“They will only deal with their own conscience and their thoughts with their own God!”

“Kenyan women especially need help and should not be denied it on religious grounds”

“While abortion is the most contentious issue, the Catholic Church’s opposition to birth control and condoms is always unswerving”

“Kenya has the fourth largest HIV epidemic in the world”

“More than 70% of women are seeking post-abortion care in Kenya, because they did not use contraception”

“In addition 43% of births were reported as unwanted and mistimed”

“The Church must look to their responsibilities, when families can’t even put food on the table, yet they have more than ten children”

“Help by the State on contraception and abortion is vital for this country and the lives of those families facing hardship”

“Let the Church see the many women dying in front of their eyes because of sepsis, which has rotted inside their bodies”

“Let them see who is ultimately responsible?”

“Nowhere is it written that these women should not be helped”

“The Church needs to open up its eyes and have humility for those women who put out their hands asking for help, not hindrance”

“The Church’s policies are outdated and out moulded and that is why there is a mass exodus from the Church all over the world”

“Perhaps for once they will consider their congregations needs in the 21st century and not their own selfish ones for a change”

“Shi Yan is a woman leading China’s new organic farming industry”

“She opened her farm in 2012, which she called her Shared Harvest Farm”

“It is not only organic, it is also one of China’s first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model”

“Shi Yan was a young student at Beijing’s Renmin University”

“She was concerned about the widespread environmental damage caused by soil erosion and by chemical-reliant farming practices “

“In 2008 she travelled to the US as an intern at Minnesota’s ecological Earthrise Farm and to see the CSA model in action”

“Today her farm produces fresh produce for its 500 Chinese members living in Beijing”

“Now there are more than 500 CSA farms in China, they all pride themselves on natural alternatives to synthetic pesticides”

“Farmers are now using ash, hot pepper and tobacco water to treat crop diseases, such as leaf spotting”

“China first introduced pesticides in 1970 to their farmers”

“These chemicals increased and maintained food output and sustained a growing population”

“However the environment and the population paid a high price for this”

“The pesticides found in Chinese food caused health problems, from headaches and nausea to cancer and endocrine disruption”

“Those pesticides have entered into the waterways and accumulated into the soil. It will take many years to eradicate them”

“As a result, CSA farms are spreading and consumers are coming away from the supermarkets’ massed produced produce”

“The verdict on the ground is that it might cost more to produce organic food…”

“…but the food tastes like food from the days when the people were young”

“Over the last five years Shi Yan has trained more than 200 apprentice farmers and they have started their own CSA ventures”

“The interest in this organic farming is growing and not just on the surface”

“It is the people, who are really passionate about the organic farming and that farms should remain small”

“This way they keep control of all their crops and deal with them effectively should anything go wrong”

“At this time the CSA farms, of which there are now 500, are providing wholesome food for half a million families”

“This is certainly a step in the right direction for all”

“The people are remaining healthy and it is kind to the environment as well!”

“A study shows that only one in eight children in England, who are sexually being abused, is identified by the authorities”

“The study by police and local authorities has found 50,000 cases of abuse from April 2012 to March 2014”

“A report by the Children’s Commissioner suggests that the actual number was up to 450,000”

“This is 85% of cases missed, particularly within the families”

“Two-thirds of child sexual abuse takes place within the family home by fathers and grandfathers of young girls making them the victims”

“The girls, who can be as young as five to nine years old, are coerced into sexual activity against their will”

“They are told they are daddy’s little secret, their special little girl and the child must not tell anybody about this secret”

“The child then becomes withdrawn and frightened”

“Although they do realise what is being done to them is wrong, they feel if they tell they will be punished”

“That they will not be believed and this is often the case”

“The dominance by the family male is so strong that the abuse continues unchallenged for many years”

“It usually continues until the child reaches the age of 15 or 16 years old and is more able to fight for herself”

“It’s the duty of all family members, especially the mother figure, who realises something is going on, but choses to turn a blind eye to it”

“The reason why this happens is that the mother figure does not want the advances of the husband anymore”

“So the child becomes the person to satisfy the husband’s advances, the mother being let off the hook in fulfilling her marital duties”

“Sad but often true!”

“It is now time that programmes in the media highlight these events more and more”

“So that young victims can come forward to either their teachers or those in authority to report this vile treatment of our children”

“It is down to the media and social services to wake up to sexual abuse and to bring it more to the fore”

“They need to explain that this is not acceptable and that all children will be heard and protected”

“Adverts in children’s magazines and children’s magazines with subtleties would also be advisable”

“Unfortunately sexual abuse, which has been going on for centuries, has been conveniently overlooked”

“So many young girls have been scared by this rape for their entire lives”

“Aboriginal Canadians and conservationists vow to end trophy hunts in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest”

“There are nine indigenous First Nations along the coast”

“They are trying to ban trophy hunting of bears in their territories under their tribal law”

“Every autumn, hundreds of residents and non-resident hunters flock to remote areas of the province for a chance to kill a grizzly bear”

“An estimate of 250-300 bears are killed every year in British Columbia out of the official estimate population of 14,000–16,000 bears”

“These bears are hunted for their hides, heads and paws, but their meat is considered to be parasitic and less palatable then other game”

“The First Nations, environmentalists and bear tourism operate in the Great Bear Rainforest”

“They have been waging a relentless public campaign against the hunt since the indigenous ban went into effect”

“They say killing grizzlies for trophies is an antiquated and ethnically inhuman practice that erodes the ecosystems”

“God gave us this world for all to live in side by side”

“We should only kill animals, so that we can survive for our food and even that is diminishing, as more people are becoming vegetarian”

“We are not on this earth to kill animals for sport or for trophies”

“Mankind came out of the caves years ago and should now have the wisdom to treat all creatures with respect and reverence”

“People come from all over the world to British Columbia to enjoy the bears and view them in their natural habitat”

“This is being eroded by Mankind”

“It is up to us all to fight to keep our wildlife and the majestic beauty that these bears bring to our world”

“Acclaimed investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has secretly filmed twelve High Court judges”

“Twenty-two other judges and 140 court officials all accepted bribes”

“In early September 2015 Anas released confidential findings to the Ghanaian public”

“There has been an unprecedented crisis of confidence in the nation’s judiciary”

“This scandal, which is on film for all to see, is playing out”

“It will change the political landscape of this nation and its effects may be felt for years to come”

“Kofi Annan, former UN Secretary General and one of Ghana’s most famous sons, said this about the film”

““Sometimes it takes a spark and I think Anas has provided that spark for the whole edifice to blow up””

“This film is certainly compelling viewing”

“The undercover footage that Anas and his team have gathered suggests that justice in Ghana is for sale”

“Some judges in the lower and higher courts will alter their verdicts and opinions for personal gain”

“This way the guilty can walk free, so that those willing to pay the price can have a ruling in their favour”

“That is whatever the rights and wrongs of the cases are!”

“Judges are supposed to be sacrosanct and hold up the integrity of the system that they embody”

“When they don’t, they cause irreparable damage to the societies they represent”

“Anas’s previous investigations have looked into the Chinese sex traffickers, abuse in mental hospitals and corrupt port officials”

“He has investigated much more besides”

“He is a well-known media figure and many Ghanaians started wearing T-shirts declaring, “I am Anas””

“They see him as ‘everyman’, one who is fighting injustice on behalf of his fellow man, when no one else seems prepared to”

“We all must admire and congratulate his efforts to keep on fighting against injustice”

“We all wish that others around the world could emulate his spirit, justice for all!”

“The world now is in great need of direction”

“It still remains leaderless and so prone to its own mishaps, which continue with short-sightedness to bring about its own downfall”

“No leaders want to listen to reason”

“All have their own interests to harness and explore”

“Nothing is ever considered, where people’s needs are the primary consideration”

“See the Middle East divide into two”

“We are not talking about Shias against Sunnis or the other way around, but literally a north/south divide”

“One kingdom will be ruled while another will also rule, but both with a separate understanding that one must not cross the other”

“A sort of formal truce will be enacted, so that support for each other can be maintained”

“At the same time there will be two sets of policies that do not contradict the other in performing”

“See a reshape up of the Middle East, where it will be divided, but where it can be managed peacefully”

“It will be done with restraint and consideration of each other”

“A shift in policies will happen, where the leaders of all the great countries will have to abandon their concerns”

“They must look to a peaceful solution that all can abide by”

“President Putin has announced that he has shared intelligence with the other G20 member states”

“This revealed that 40 countries help finance IS’s activities”

“This information, as yet not given to the media, shows that among the 40 countries some of them are G20 members”

“IS makes an estimated $50m a month from selling crude oil captured in oilfields in Iraq and Syria”

“This has been confirmed by US and Iraqi intelligence”

“As a result of this declared information, the US has now launched its first strike against an IS oil convoy”

“Previously the US have refused to strike over 1,000 IS controlled tanker trucks out of what they said was a concern for civilians”

“IS has been smuggling this crude oil that it has been producing in Syria”

“Recently 116 trucks have now been destroyed near Deir al-Zour, an area in the eastern section of Syria, which is controlled by IS”

“Since the Paris bombing, the US has had to change its tactics and it seems they are being forced closer to the Russian position”

“President Putin has stressed that more effective measures to deal with this terrorist group are needed”

“It is unthinkable that they are being funded in this way to keep them going”

“There needs to be a concerted effort by the US, which is ultimately responsible for the forming of this group in the first place”

“Now they shy away from their responsibilities, like they did over the Iraq War”

“This concerted effort must be also made by Europe, Saudi Arabia and Turkey and with Iran’s support”

“It is an absolute disgrace that 40 nations are involved in the funding of this terrorist machine”

“All this is now being relayed to the G20 summit”

“It is high time that proper moral action was taken”

“These countries and individuals financing IS must be exposed for their support of this killing machine”

“We continue to watch the media unleash its violence on our screens and where human rights have no part in its delivery”

“The propaganda used to serve this misguided war in Syria is there to serve only the military and their industries”

“There has been an entire devaluation of all human lives, which count almost today as nothing – people are expendable”

“The media is directed by Western Governments in mobilising public opinion for the advancement of the war efforts in Syria”

“There is no expression of empathy with the Russian plane victims or the Arab victims who suffer daily”

“There has been a practice on ‘the war on terror’, which has destroyed two countries, Afghanistan and especially Iraq”

“Iraq was systematically dismantled by US and UK forces”

“It was Iraq, which once enjoyed the best health and education systems in the Arab world”

“The war in Afghanistan against the Taliban is still ongoing and nothing has been resolved, the people there still suffer continuously”

“At the end of all this chaos and mayhem are interests”

“The French interests are that they are the main beneficiary to the arms trade boosted by the western wars in the Middle East”

“This is together with their own intervention in Mali”

“The gunmen in the Paris massacre show that most of them are drawn from the French youths from disenfranchised neighbourhoods”

“These vulnerable youths are likely candidates to the IS recruitment methods as they feed on their despair and anger”

“The French Government was not interested in the repeated protests by their disenfranchised people on their streets”

“This occurred between 2005 and 2014”

“These French people were betrayed by the French slogan of liberty, equality and fraternity. It was not there for them!”

“Instead France continues to bomb the Syrian town of al-Raqqa, where the Syrian people are besieged by IS & French fighter jets from the sky”

“This clash of savagery and war continues losing the freedom for Mankind in both the West and the East alike”

“All are trampling on human rights, as they continue to rain down death and destruction”

“When will sanity reign? Who has the guts to stand up and say this is no longer acceptable”

“As in the US when the Vietnam War was raging it was the American people that finally said enough is enough”

“There were marches and rallies which demonstrated that the war had to end”

“It must be the people who decide that these wars can no longer continue and to vote with their feet and with their voices”

“This is not about liberty”

“It is about decency and justice for all human beings that they have a right to live in peace without military interests”

“The repercussions of Russian’s bombed plane are showing up President Sisi’s lack of leadership and ability to deal with these crises”

“World powers have suspended flights to Sharm el Sheikh and tourists have been fleeing Egypt in their droves”

“At this time Egypt is involved in parliamentary elections, which are supposed to bring Egypt into a democracy”

“But instead voters are turning away from voting as is borne out by public cynicism as to how Sisi is governing”

“Showing up that Presidents Sisi’s Government is becoming increasingly isolated”

“Russia’s intelligence services has concluded that the Russian plane was brought down by deliberate terrorist intervention”

“This will have major consequences for Sisi’s regime and pressure is brought to bear on him and his Government”

“Egypt so far has not yet accepted the Russian findings for fear of the consequences of his handling of terrorists in the Sinai desert”

“This will hurt the Egyptian regime and discredit President Sisi’s Government”

“Egypt has been without a Parliament since 2012, when President Morsi was ousted out by a military coup”

“In the absence of a Parliament, President Sisi has been running the country with an iron fist”

“Sisi has revamped the Parliamentary Electoral District Law”

“He has divided the country into individual candidates and changed the electoral list of districts”

“This does not allow for any real competition or opposition to the status quo, so the people are not interested in voting”

“To date there has only been 26% voter turnout!”

“Egypt’s civil rights and press freedoms have been severely curtailed and there is no room for an opposition voice”

“Meanwhile tourist’s bookings in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh are down by 80% of reservations already cancelled”

“The remarkable apathy of Egyptian voters is clearly reflected in the low turnout in the Parliamentary Elections”

“It shows something is definitely wrong. The Egyptian people are effectively giving a silent protest to the present regime”

“Until democracy comes into effect and real change for the people is demonstrated then they will continue to suffer immensely”

“President Sisi will lose credibility, which is already happening and his support will wane from his supporters”

“Concessions will have to be met if he is to continue in power and be supported with huge financial incentives”

“They go to him and the military and not to the people as a whole”

“The Egyptian people are speaking again, but will Sisi listen?”

“President Putin is now positioning himself to be seen as a valuable partner with his policies of bombing IS”

“A 100 years ago, Russia was already a great power in Europe and was poised to become one in the Middle East”

“Putin is now driving forwards to become recognised as a vital link in the collaboration of western powers to rid this world of IS”

“Russia suffered an air catastrophe over Sinai caused by a terrorist bomb, so there is now a greater impetus for retaliation from Moscow”

“Will Russia be confirmed as a power in the Middle East, as happened in World War I?”

“Or will it be an ill-judged assault as it was in Afghanistan?”

“Putin will step up his attacks on Syria, which will serve to cover up his less successful intervention in the Ukraine”

“President Putin needs to appear strong and decisive and with western cooperation a deal can be forged to defeat IS on many fronts”

“IS will in time become isolated and fragmented”

“They have no experience of governing their caliphate, only destroying that which does not agree with them”

“Those towns and cities they already control are practically free of people”

“IS demand their rights over these people, but correct governing is not in their experience and so they will ultimately fail”

“It is now very important that all powers must put aside their differences and find a common ground”

“This is to rid Syria and the Middle East of this murderous Ismaili cult”

“President Putin would like to become a partner of powers to show off his strength and intelligence”

“What is needed now is to look at what IS is doing in its fight against the West and democracy as they know it”

“We are becoming more of an integrated society, especially with the refugee crisis of many people fleeing persecution and unrest”

“It is the indigenous people that are being dissolved into more of a multicultural society, whether they like it or not”

“It then becomes necessary to begin to understand each other & to behave with tolerance & acceptance that we cannot all agree on everything”

“What must be discussed are our common themes, our common values and how we can make living together a possibility”

“Tolerance above the norm needs to be exercised, so that as a human race we are brought together to work and live side by side”

“It is also necessary that those who enter countries around the world, which was not their birth country…”

“The state & the indigenous people must all work together, so that no one feels an outsider & where unity becomes the daily form of life”

“Separate factions always breed unrest and anger, where they feel they are not supported and this helps to incite conflict”

“In the case of IS they consider themselves the elite of Islamic teachings, but it is up to the Arab Kingdoms to deal with their own kind”

“They have had their day and have brought massive destruction on the innocent and just people”

“See heads of states/Governments and institutions being relieved of their positions and where they will no longer see the light of day”

“The world is now changing and Mankind and whole populations will have their days in court”

“It is they that will cause a landslide of other injustices to come to the surface”

“At last the people of the world will be able to speak and be heard as never before”

“Myanmar’s election is being seen as a chance for another step towards democracy”

“President Thein Sein has said the military will respect the result, but it is up to the people to speak”

“They must state their policy to bring about democracy to their country”

“As Aung San Suu Kyi’s party is claiming the gains in Myanmar’s Parliamentary Election, her supporters are anticipating a landslide victory”

“A very excited man, aged 39 years old, has voted for the first time”

“He has found that the National League for Democracy (NLD) has won in his own town”

“He is hoping that Suu Kyi’s party will be able to improve education and healthcare for his children”

“This is the country’s first openly contested election in decades and has seen an estimated 80% voter turnout, it is unprecedented”

“The NLD have stated they have won 70% of the votes, winning seats in Yangon and even in the capital Naypyidaw”

“The capital had been ruled by the Union Solidarity and Development Party and they had expected to win”

“Although there has not been any official result, the people themselves know that Suu Kyi has won!”

“The military Government handed power to a semi-civilian Government in 2011, but still the military dominates politics after decades in power”

“The military secures 25% of the seats in Parliament, which are automatically reserved for them”

“Myanmar needs to make essential reforms in governing its people”

“This must be allowed to happen, so that Myanmar is able to bring about a true transition to democracy”
