accounts. This deal allows Germans, who have undeclared assets in Switzerland

Sepulchre in Jerusalem has had its bank account frozen, because of its unpaid
water bill – the bill being $2.3m”
“The Church has not been
traditionally charged for water. Now the Israeli water company wants to charge
them”
“The outrage of one law for a
time and now hitting the Church, who are not in a position to pay, is
outrageous”
“It has been alright for the
water company to ignore this bill for 15 years for whatever reasons”
“Now, through a brainwave,
they think they can just ride roughshod over this special Church showing who
these people really are”
“The importance of the Holy
Sepulchre in Jerusalem is where many Christians believe Jesus was crucified”
“Because of this fiasco, the
doors to pilgrims who come and worship may have to close”
“The dispute has left
hundreds of priests, monks and teachers without pay”
