World Affairs for 2014 OCTOBER

25th October 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“There will be a temporary halt after today of our Twitter information, Spiritual Guidance and advice, while we are in the process of moving”

“We hope all our dedicated global followers will bear with us during this time of our transition and we will be back with you soon”

“Egypt is facing a new threat to its security with mounting unrest by offensive jihadists in the northern Sinai”

“A suicide blast at an army checkpoint has killed 28 soldiers near El-Arish”

“There was a separate shooting, where three soldiers died at a checkpoint in the town itself”

“There needs to be a tighter unified control of Arab heads of state to bring about a reversal to these jihadists”

“At this time Arab heads do not trust each other to deliver a strategy, which will finally sort out these many different offensives”

“That is why they continue to win hands down”

“Until a proper organised strategy is established, then all nations will suffer and the evil of extremists will continue to grow”

“Like a cancer it continues to render its opponent helpless and incompetent”

“Reform of the highest level needs to be put on the agenda”

“It is not a question of waiting for other Arab leaders to see what they can do”

“There has to be a unified solution with a tactical plan of action”

25th October 2014 (ladylydialondon twitter)

“There will be a temporary halt after today of our Twitter information, Spiritual Guidance and advice, while we are in the process of moving”

“We hope all our dedicated global followers will bear with us during this time of our transition and we will be back with you soon”

“The US is to investigate whether the militant group IS have used chemical weapons in Iraq”

“Secretary of State John Kerry says it looks ‘extremely serious’”

“There have been allegations that IS have attacked Iraqi police officers with chlorine gas last month”

“Additional persistent reports from Iraq that IS have been using chlorine gas is further being voiced”

“Syria’s Bashar al-Assad has used chemical weapons on a large scale”

“This was to avert the threat of retaliatory action by western air strikes”

“The effect on Syrians has been devastating”

“As recently as this August he has used chemicals again”

“There is no end to this man’s destruction of human life”

“Just before the massive US bombing campaign of Iraq, it was discovered that the US and Britain…”

“…had secretly built a germ weapons arsenal for Iraq to use against Iran in the eight year Iran-Iraq war”

“It is US and Britain’s breath-taking hypocrisy against Iraq’s supposed WMD (weapons of mass destruction) that never existed”

“Both George W Bush and Tony Blair remonstrated against Saddam Hussein’s weapons programme”

“While at the same time failing to mention their construction of germ weapons arsenal that they gave to him”

“British scientists had been employed at Iraq’s top secret Salman Pak chemical and bio warfare laboratory near Baghdad”

“Their goal was to develop and weaponize anthrax, plague, botulism and other pathogens for use as tactical germ weapons”

“The Anglo – American view is chemical and biological weapons are fine – so long as they are used against Muslim Iranians”

“Used against westerners, they would be denounced as ‘terrorism’”

“The US media has never reported this story or Washington’s secret backing of their old ally Saddam Hussein”

“Few American’s know anything of their deadliest bio warfare weapon used in Iraq, where US airpower on Iraq’s water and sewage systems…”

“…a crime that led to the deaths according to UN officials of over 500,000 Iraqis, mostly children, from contaminated water”

“Iraq is still poisoned by depleted uranium munitions fired by US forces”

“John Kerry’s despicable hypocritical statement that…”

“…‘the use of any chemical weapon is an abhorrent act’ and it goes against International Law”

“It is the Western powers who have prevented Iraq from importing chlorine to purity filthy, pest-ridden water”

“They are claiming that chlorine could be used in chemical weapons”

“Why are these events of a quarter century ago relevant today?”

“Because this horrible mess in Iraq and Syria is a direct result of the US–led invasion of Iraq in 2003”

“IS is a manufactured monster that could have crawled out of the germ warfare plant at Salman Pak”

23rd October 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has set up an inquiry into attacks on UN facilities during Israel’s recent offensive on Gaza”

“He also stated the independent investigation will look into more serious cases where innocent people were killed”

“In past wars by Israel on Gaza where disproportionate violent attack on Palestinians in UN facilities has happened…”

“…nothing has been done”

“Children have been killed in UN facilities by Israel’s bombardment and again nothing has been done”

“We, in this world, have to now take Ban Ki-moon’s inquires with a pinch of salt”

“Eye witnesses and testimony from legitimate UN investigators again from the past have accounted for nothing”

“Israel is never brought to book”

“How can any so called credible authority act so irresponsibly?”

“One can only say that the UN cannot be credible and is under the thumb of the US and Israel”

“Therefore legitimate justice can never take place”

“What then is the point of having a UN in the first place, where its clout acts for nothing all the time?”

“The organisation becomes a laughing stock for the world and should cease to exist for the feeble efforts that it does”

“All is just window dressing with no substance, so it becomes an irrelevant and spent force”

“It is a laughing stock to the world and where decency can no longer be a part of its mandate”

“Too many inquiries have occurred with concrete evidence, substantiated every time and nothing has ever changed”

“Israel continues with impunity to act as butchers, while the rest of the world looks on in anger”

“They are allowed to get away with it every time!”

23rd October 2014 (ladylydialondon twitter)

“A doctor from the Democratic Republic of Congo has won Europe’s top human rights prize for helping thousands of gang rape victims in his country”

“Dr Denis Mukwege is the winner of the Sakharov prize by the European Parliament in Strasbourg”

“The 59 year old gynaecologist said the prize would make rape survivors in DR Congo feel they are not alone”

“The doctor set up the Panzi Hospital in DR Congo in 1999 treating women subjected to horrific sexual violence”

“His work is a life saviour to so many thousands of abused women”

“Two years ago he survived an assassination attempt after condemning the continued use of sexual violence in the DR Congo”

“This was done by the forces fighting to control the country’s vast mineral wealth”

“This prize is in recognition of over 30,000 rape survivors treated at his hospital over a 16 year period”

“His work is invaluable to all those who have suffered”

“He is one of the unsung heroes, who are fighting at the sharp end of life every day”

“His work in saving humanity is because he believes in a greater mission”

“My husband and I have also sacrificed our lives in helping our fellow man”

“We are also at the sharp end of life daily battling against the odds”

“At least Dr Mukwege is finally recognised”

“We, like so many other unsung heroes are not, yet somehow we keep on going because we have to”

21st October 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been given a five year jail sentence for the killing of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp”

“There is also a three year suspended sentence for a firearms charge”

“The judge in her delivery was mindful of both public opinion and the law regarding mercy in her judgement of the sentence”

“There will be many who still think that this sentence is too light for the taking of a life of girl, who was defenceless while he was not!”

“The tragic events of this case of course cannot bring Miss Steenkamp back”

“It will be the desolation and grief suffered by her family, which will take a lifetime to endure”

“Although the Pistorius sentence is light in many ways, he is a broken man”

“He will have to daily reflect on his irresponsible behaviour for the rest of his life”

“The three year suspended sentence was for Pistorius’ handling of another firearm incident – shooting in a crowded restaurant”

“There he showed blatant disregard for human life with his high-spirited antics”

“This man’s psychological aspect is highly suspect and one cannot continually blame his life of privilege as an excuse”

“It has to be said a black man would not have got off quite so lightly and that is a fact”

“The three year suspended sentence should have run concurrently with his five year sentence and so making an example of him”

“Spiritual Law is now coming into effect”

“One will find that this man will never be able to work again, never mind train for any Paralympic Games”

“His irresponsible behaviour will be his own life sentence and it is hoped that eventually he will learn what taking a life really means!”

21st October 2014 (ladylydialondon twitter)

“Fierce fighting has erupted in the north of the Syrian town of Kobane after two days of relative calm”

“The clashes began when IS militants launched an offensive on all fronts against Kurdish fighters”

“Meanwhile the US-led anti-IS coalition said it carried out six air strikes”

“IS is doing what it intends to do, which is to surround and squeeze the life blood and all access points to this city”

“The same strategy will be used in Baghdad”

“The two days of calm is for IS to regroup & to confront the issues open to them on a day to day basis with contingency plans where necessary”

“They have many options open to them and, from where they stand, they can counterattack from several strategic points”

“This the US coalition forces have no answer to”

“The coalition forces do not have the manpower to assemble a substantial attack, which will render IS inoperable”

“The ground initiative will not be won by air force strikes alone, as IS’s intelligence is far greater at this point in guerrilla warfare”

“As has been previously advised, it is the dismantling of the ideology that will bring this group down”

“It is not warfare, which they are fully prepared for and to die only enhances their cause”

“The more the US coalition forces wish to fight, will only enhance IS’s power to continue and brutalise its opponents”

“Until their cause is shamed and blamed and is shown to have no purpose, then and only then, will it be shunned globally”

“Then their power will diminished for all time”

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the robbery”

“Mr Edhi is one of Pakistan’s most revered figures and is now at his wits end as to how to cope”

“Whatever the robbers think they have gained by this callous act against their own kind…”

“…the repercussions will be felt throughout all of Pakistan”

“No good will come of this money and the gold and silver will be noted and scrupulously screened”

“These robbers are now marked men for their callous and cowardice act against a saintly man and Mankind”

“The Higher Intelligence sees all and these robbers will not profit by any of it one bit!”

20th October 2014 (ladylydialondon twitter)

“The film provides gripping evidence of the accumulative psychic traumas that every soldier carries in war”

“Wars become more devastating with every day”

“The horrors inflicted on Mankind by Mankind leave soldiers and civilians traumatised for life”

“Until there comes a time, which is what happened in America with the Vietnam War, when the American people took to the streets”

“They protested to end the bloodshed and horrors, which traumatised their soldiers”

“They asked for their soldiers to be brought back”

“Enough was enough and an end to the Vietnam War took place”

“Many soldiers went into madness, taking drugs to alleviate their mental pain, which they were suffering”

“Nothing is worth this type of aggression”

“There is coming a time soon where war will no longer be tolerated by the people of whichever country”

“If soldiers refused to fight and Governments demanded this of their subjects and they refused, then an alternative way will need to be found”

“The price for war, both in terms of those killed, injured and the civilian price that they pay, is too high”

“There is also the economic and devastation to infrastructure”

“Military Generals continue to play their war games as that is what keeps them alive”

“Even heads of state like to think they are mighty in their advancement on helpless states”

“When these people are put on the front line with all that is thrown at them including biological warfare, they will not be smiling then”

“Only then will something change”

“Mankind with his intelligence is supposed to be wiser than this”

“Long have we come out of the dark ages, yet what has really changed?”

“Women in general are the peacemakers and their time will come and wars will be no more”

“Negotiation of settlements and treaties together with trade deals will be the way forwards”

“War will no longer be a valid option and will be frowned upon by those who are civilised against those who remain barbaric”

“They are incompetent in their attitude to playing silly games of power”

“How can the world continue to be placed in the hands of the military, whose only education is of war and not of diplomacy?”

“Clearly they do not have the intelligence to do anything else otherwise this world would have been blown to pieces by now”

“I appreciate we are sometimes close to this line”

“However, thankfully for us there is a Higher Intelligence, which sees all and will have the final say over Mankind’s foolish ways”

19th October 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“This man has tremendous courage and is exemplary in his work ethics”

“He has, in the course of his work, already saved many lives, most of which will not be known to the general public”

“He is a staunch person in doing what is right for the Greater Good”

“A humble person, who has immense power in his own right and a solid backing from so many Iraqis from both sides of the fence”

“He will do well in bringing all sides together to the negotiation table”

“His aim is for peace and reconciliation of many factions, which have gone so terribly wrong in the past”

“Again we all wish him well with his quest, which will be both challenging and at times extremely difficult”

“Haider al-Abadi has now assembled a Government that feels more inclusive”

“It is hoped that with Mr Abadi’s backers, inside and outside of Iraq, he will create a sense of unity at the very top”

“It is for them to provide an effective political response to huge and complex challenges posed by IS, which is long overdue!”

“This is already happening with much home grown decent, which is slowly brewing up”

“China’s leadership has a deep seated fear of uprisings”

“China would be most unwise to send in its army into Hong Kong at this time”

“Especially when China is trying to become the world’s epicentre of commerce and finance”

“So a backroom deal is likely in which Beijing makes some concessions without losing too much face”

“Otherwise they will face a tempest in Hong Kong, which would become a political tsunami for the rest of a very restless China”

17th October 2014 (jandmayers twitter)

“A human rights group founded by former US President Jimmy Carter has closed its office in Egypt due to restrictions on democratic rights”

“The Carter Centre said it will not send a mission to observe this year’s parliamentary elections”

“This office opened in Cairo after the 2011 uprising”

“Its prime objective was to support the country’s democratic transition after Hosni Mubarak was deposed”

“The problem with Egypt’s transition is that fear in their democracy has allowed for it to go backwards”

“The military want total control and remain now in that state with financing from the US, which allows for the status quo to remain”

“The Egyptian people are left wanting in so many ways”

“Egypt’s judiciary has gone rampant with over 16,000 held in prison, such is their fear”

“At least 14 journalists are held behind bars with trumped up charges that don’t hold up!”

“Egyptian civil society and international organisations face an increasingly hostile and restrictive environment”

“This military dictatorship will squeeze the life blood out of their own country”

“When that happens, it is only a matter of time before a major revolt, the likes this country has not seen before, will happen”

“The Egyptian people will have nothing to lose, as they have no life and no rights will revolt and bring down the Government yet again”

“America is responsible for continuing to support puppet dictatorships”

“As we already know America does not have friends, they have interests and it is their interests which allows for this status quo!”

“Do not be fooled with what one thinks of as any kind of a victory by the Kurdish army and US-led air strikes”

“The IS rebels are a unique fighting force, whose objective is to bring about a false sense of security”

“When the opposing army’s defence is down, a greater onslaught in another part of the region happens”

“The battle plan is to reduce the Kurdish and US-led strikes to such a degree that their fighting becomes in-operational”

“US strikes, with what they see as timely hits, are no more than that, hits, but with no real objective ever won”

“Please do not believe that the propaganda, which is being flaunted out, is working”

“This is but a smoke screen to make IS fighters think they are being overrun. There is no such agenda”

“IS fighters can pick and choose their targets to their liking when they see fit according to their strategy”

“Not what the US and Kurds have in mind”

“As we have already pointed out, this is a cat and mouse game”

“The only ones who hold the cards now are the IS, do not be fooled otherwise”

“The strategy by the US-led coalition forces is all wrong and this war can never be won by continued strikes”

“IS have already countermeasures to deal with these attacks far more advanced than any US limited strategy at this time”

“The IS forces can go on in this way for years, maybe even decades, running rings around the US and Kurdish forces”

“The US are now reaping what they have sown with regards to the Iraqi War, of which they did not have an exit strategy”

“There will be no point in governing!”

“Until Mankind starts to stop being stupid and starts to put matters right what is so wrong with this world…”

“…then this disease will continue unabated”

“We have not seen anything like it in our lifetime. It cannot be abated”

“It will take a Higher Intelligence over Man to put this disease into a quiescent period, which becomes manageable”

“Until Mankind puts in the right criteria, then the medical people are fighting a losing battle!”

“A vote in the UK Government to recognise Palestine as a state is far too little too late”

“Yet the world looks on and does nothing”

“Shame on you all who are in a position to do something”

“There is no universal conscience and so Israel & its brutal regime continue unabashed with impunity, while the people continue to suffer!”

“All these wars are to finally ethnically cleanse the Palestinians from their own land, so that Zionism can flourish and takeover”

“When will these people be free of this continued onslaught to their miserable lives?”

“They, like the rest of the world, have a right to live in freedom without such oppression!”
