“Shaun Harris’s niece, Dhu,
died while being held in police custody in the iron ore mining town of Port
Hadland”
“This town is north of the
city of Perth in Western Australia”
“Shaun Harris was the main
speaker for the family, who have waited for over a year to find out why she
died”
“Julieka Dhu was a healthy
twenty-two year old”
“The verdict at the inquest
was that she died from severe staphylococcal septicaemia and pneumonia”
“This developed after
complications from a broken rib”
“This twenty-two year old
Aboriginal woman was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines”
“These resulted in other
offences, one of which was for assaulting a police officer”
“On her first night of being
locked up, Dhu complained of severe pain to her right side”
“She had been in this severe
pain for over an hour before she was taken to hospital”
“It was suggested by the
police at the inquest that Dhu had been faking her pain”
“The doctor, who saw her,
failed to make a diagnosis and put it down to behavioural issues and she was
discharged”
“The next night Dhu was
returned to the hospital”
“Again they said that she had
behavioural issues and again no formal diagnosis was made”
“Finally Dhu awoke to the
final stages of severe septic shock”
“It was the CCTV footage,
which showed Dhu being handcuffed and dragged to the floor of her cell”
“Later she was carried by
police to the back of a police vehicle”
“An hour later she was dead”
“Shaun Harris said, “She died because she was a black woman,
which is the worst thing to be in this country””
““Had she been a white woman, she would have got better care””
Julieka Dhu’s inquest was
only brought forward by a public campaign”
“Her death was the most
highly profiled Aboriginal death in police custody”
“That is since Ward, an
Aboriginal elder, was cooked to death in the back of a police vehicle in 2008”
“Deaths in custody for the
indigenous Australians has been an ongoing issue since 1980’s”
“They are comparable to the
Black Lives Matter movement in the US”
“For many, the death and
final days of Dhu have touched upon every issue currently facing Western
Australia’s Aboriginal people”
“In 2004 Aborigines made up
3% of the population, but represented 40% of the state’s prisoners”
“Western Australian Labor
Party statistics show the number of Aboriginal women arrested for defaulting on
their fines has increased”
“It has increased by 576%
since 2008”
“The policy of the Western
Australian Government are pushing to close remote Aboriginal communities”
“They have already slashed
funding for Aboriginal health services”
“It is the slow but
determined pressure to eradicate these people off their lands and very little
is done to prevent this happening”
“Australia is doing ethnic
cleansing and this will not bode well with the Australian people in the long
term”
“The Australian Government
cannot supress these Aborigines indefinitely”
“Worldwide opinion will
strongly be against them regardless of what they might think”

“The powerful nations will
all have their interests in the Middle East and where further shoring up of
lands will be done”
“It is all about vested
interests and nothing about the people”
“The Arab world has lost
their control over their own territories, because of their short-sightedness”
“They have sacrificed their
own people for the power they wish to exude over them”
“Other powerful nations are
now going in for the kill and they will be relentless”
“Their interest in land and
oil is far more important than saving lives, which are cheap and irreverent”
“The sadness of this scenario
is that it will cause a backlash amongst these important nations”
“As with all wolves in a
pack, they can’t all get the best prize”
“This will entail a carving
up of land and amenities, where conflict within these nations will occur”
“This will send warlike
tremors around the world”
“No one is innocent in these
strategies”
“All are guilty of greed and
power for themselves as colonial powers, who do not know how to stop”
“There will be important
backlashes, where much gesturing and pontification will be seen”
“Then once they have carved
up the spoils of their entanglements they’ll back off, satisfied that they have
got all they can out of the deal”
“The map of the Middle East
will be changed forever”
“It is the fault of the Arab
Kingdoms, who are not aware of the strategic plans of the higher powers”
“Because they have left the
doors open, they have lost control over their own territories”
“Until the Arab world unites
to combat colonial forces, they will see their Kingdoms gradually being eroded
in front of their eyes”
“The tragedy here is that it
all could have been so different, but no one wants to take the right advice”
“All think that by sleeping
with the devil, they can be exonerated from their own crimes of deceit and

truth is to search one’s soul and get Divine Guidance coupled with the facts”
“For most of us that is impossible,
but if you know where to go for that right information then lives &
livelihoods are saved for all time”
“Mediums, seers, are able to
link in with the Universal Intelligence, the font of all knowledge, for past,
present and the future”
“In the olden days, wars were
fought and won on the advice and information given by the mediums to the rulers

are at a loss to know how to deal with IS and see their only way out is to

at the very roots of their thinking and planning”
“All this can be done by the
Arab world themselves, who must now take their responsibility to new heights of

“The monster/genie is out of

“This is to literally cut off
all funding supplies, so that it can no longer survive”

through great difficulties, as they are dealing with the consequences of not
being allowed to have abortions”
“Meanwhile the Catholic
Church is stamping its authority on them”
“At this time the leading
cause of maternal deaths is unsafe abortion, according to the Kenyan Ministry
of Health”
“Doctors have voiced their
concerns by saying…”
“…“We like to call ourselves a Christian country and that ends up meaning
we don’t want to respect people’s voices””
““We want to mix religion with obstetrics and gynaecology””
“In the meantime Kenya is
watching women die, mothers die and daughters as well die”
“The Kenyan Ministry of
Health reported in 2012 that 157,762 Kenyan women received care”
“This care was because of
complications resulting from induced and spontaneous abortions”
“Of those receiving care, 37%
of them suffered from severe complications, such as sepsis, shock or organ
failure”
“Pope Francis has been lauded
for his liberal views on climate change and poverty”
“But he stands firm on the
Church’s opposition to abortion”
“In 2012 the Kenyan
Constitution, to great fanfare and controversy, liberalised Kenya’s near
complete ban on abortion”
“It stated abortion was legal
when dealt with by a trained health professional, especially where there was a
need for emergency treatment”
“This treatment was for the
life and health of the mother who was in danger”
“This is written in the
Kenyan Constitution”
“What needs to be further
debated in Parliament is the continued interference by the Church over the
welfare of women”
“This is unconstitutional”
“When women do not want their
pregnancy, no amount of bullying by the Church will change a women’s mind”
“If they cannot obtain it
legally, which is their right to have they will obtain it by the backdoor
method and put their lives in danger!”
“The short-sightedness by the
Church continues, women will never be dictated to by the Church”
“They will only deal with
their own conscience and their thoughts with their own God!”
“Kenyan women especially need
help and should not be denied it on religious grounds”
“While abortion is the most
contentious issue, the Catholic Church’s opposition to birth control and
condoms is always unswerving”
“Kenya has the fourth largest
HIV epidemic in the world”
“More than 70% of women are
seeking post-abortion care in Kenya, because they did not use contraception”
“In addition 43% of births
were reported as unwanted and mistimed”
“The Church must look to
their responsibilities, when families can’t even put food on the table, yet
they have more than ten children”
“Help by the State on
contraception and abortion is vital for this country and the lives of those
families facing hardship”
“Let the Church see the many
women dying in front of their eyes because of sepsis, which has rotted inside
their bodies”
“Let them see who is
ultimately responsible?”
“Nowhere is it written that
these women should not be helped”
“The Church needs to open up its
eyes and have humility for those women who put out their hands asking for help,
not hindrance”
“The Church’s policies are
outdated and out moulded and that is why there is a mass exodus from the Church
all over the world”

“Shi Yan is a woman leading
China’s new organic farming industry”
“She opened her farm in 2012,
which she called her Shared Harvest Farm”
“It is not only organic, it
is also one of China’s first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model”
“Shi Yan was a young student
at Beijing’s Renmin University”
“She was concerned about the
widespread environmental damage caused by soil erosion and by chemical-reliant
farming practices “
“In 2008 she travelled to the
US as an intern at Minnesota’s ecological Earthrise Farm and to see the CSA
model in action”
“Today her farm produces
fresh produce for its 500 Chinese members living in Beijing”
“Now there are more than 500
CSA farms in China, they all pride themselves on natural alternatives to
synthetic pesticides”
“Farmers are now using ash,
hot pepper and tobacco water to treat crop diseases, such as leaf spotting”
“China first introduced
pesticides in 1970 to their farmers”
“These chemicals increased
and maintained food output and sustained a growing population”
“However the environment and
the population paid a high price for this”
“The pesticides found in
Chinese food caused health problems, from headaches and nausea to cancer and
endocrine disruption”
“Those pesticides have
entered into the waterways and accumulated into the soil. It will take many
years to eradicate them”
“As a result, CSA farms are
spreading and consumers are coming away from the supermarkets’ massed produced
produce”
“The verdict on the ground is
that it might cost more to produce organic food…”
“…but the food tastes like
food from the days when the people were young”
“Over the last five years Shi
Yan has trained more than 200 apprentice farmers and they have started their
own CSA ventures”
“The interest in this organic
farming is growing and not just on the surface”
“It is the people, who are
really passionate about the organic farming and that farms should remain small”
“This way they keep control
of all their crops and deal with them effectively should anything go wrong”
“At this time the CSA farms,
of which there are now 500, are providing wholesome food for half a million
families”
“This is certainly a step in
the right direction for all”
“The people are remaining
healthy and it is kind to the environment as well!”

eight children in England, who are sexually being abused, is identified by the
authorities”
“The study by police and
local authorities has found 50,000 cases of abuse from April 2012 to March
2014”
“A report by the Children’s
Commissioner suggests that the actual number was up to 450,000”
“This is 85% of cases missed,
particularly within the families”
“Two-thirds of child sexual
abuse takes place within the family home by fathers and grandfathers of young
girls making them the victims”
“The girls, who can be as
young as five to nine years old, are coerced into sexual activity against their
will”
“They are told they are
daddy’s little secret, their special little girl and the child must not tell
anybody about this secret”
“The child then becomes withdrawn
and frightened”
“Although they do realise
what is being done to them is wrong, they feel if they tell they will be
punished”
“That they will not be
believed and this is often the case”
“The dominance by the family
male is so strong that the abuse continues unchallenged for many years”
“It usually continues until
the child reaches the age of 15 or 16 years old and is more able to fight for
herself”
“It’s the duty of all family
members, especially the mother figure, who realises something is going on, but
choses to turn a blind eye to it”
“The reason why this happens
is that the mother figure does not want the advances of the husband anymore”
“So the child becomes the
person to satisfy the husband’s advances, the mother being let off the hook in
fulfilling her marital duties”
“Sad but often true!”
“It is now time that
programmes in the media highlight these events more and more”
“So that young victims can
come forward to either their teachers or those in authority to report this vile
treatment of our children”
“It is down to the media and
social services to wake up to sexual abuse and to bring it more to the fore”
“They need to explain that
this is not acceptable and that all children will be heard and protected”

“They are trying to ban trophy
hunting of bears in their territories under their tribal law”

residents and non-resident hunters flock to remote areas of the province for a
chance to kill a grizzly bear”
“An estimate of 250-300 bears
are killed every year in British Columbia out of the official estimate
population of 14,000–16,000 bears”
“These bears are hunted for
their hides, heads and paws, but their meat is considered to be parasitic and
less palatable then other game”
“The First Nations, environmentalists
and bear tourism operate in the Great Bear Rainforest”
“They have been waging a
relentless public campaign against the hunt since the indigenous ban went into
effect”
“They say killing grizzlies
for trophies is an antiquated and ethnically inhuman practice that erodes the
ecosystems”
“God gave us this world for
all to live in side by side”
“We should only kill animals,
so that we can survive for our food and even that is diminishing, as more
people are becoming vegetarian”

“Twenty-two other judges and
140 court officials all accepted bribes”
“In early September 2015 Anas
released confidential findings to the Ghanaian public”
“There has been an
unprecedented crisis of confidence in the nation’s judiciary”
“This scandal, which is on
film for all to see, is playing out”
“It will change the political
landscape of this nation and its effects may be felt for years to come”
“Kofi Annan, former UN
Secretary General and one of Ghana’s most famous sons, said this about the
film”
““Sometimes it takes a spark and I think Anas has provided that spark
for the whole edifice to blow up””
“This film is certainly
compelling viewing”
“The undercover footage that
Anas and his team have gathered suggests that justice in Ghana is for sale”
“Some judges in the lower and
higher courts will alter their verdicts and opinions for personal gain”
“This way the guilty can walk
free, so that those willing to pay the price can have a ruling in their favour”
“That is whatever the rights
and wrongs of the cases are!”
“Judges are supposed to be
sacrosanct and hold up the integrity of the system that they embody”
“When they don’t, they cause
irreparable damage to the societies they represent”
“Anas’s previous
investigations have looked into the Chinese sex traffickers, abuse in mental
hospitals and corrupt port officials”
“He has investigated much
more besides”
“He is a well-known media
figure and many Ghanaians started wearing T-shirts declaring, “I am Anas””
“They see him as ‘everyman’,
one who is fighting injustice on behalf of his fellow man, when no one else
seems prepared to”
“We all must admire and
congratulate his efforts to keep on fighting against injustice”
“We all wish that others
around the world could emulate his spirit, justice for all!”

“The world now is in great
need of direction”
“It still remains leaderless
and so prone to its own mishaps, which continue with short-sightedness to bring
about its own downfall”
“No leaders want to listen to
reason”
“All have their own interests
to harness and explore”
“Nothing is ever considered,
where people’s needs are the primary consideration”
“See the Middle East divide
into two”
“We are not talking about
Shias against Sunnis or the other way around, but literally a north/south
divide”
“One kingdom will be ruled
while another will also rule, but both with a separate understanding that one
must not cross the other”
“A sort of formal truce will
be enacted, so that support for each other can be maintained”
“At the same time there will
be two sets of policies that do not contradict the other in performing”
“See a reshape up of the
Middle East, where it will be divided, but where it can be managed peacefully”
“It will be done with
restraint and consideration of each other”
“A shift in policies will
happen, where the leaders of all the great countries will have to abandon their
concerns”
“They must look to a peaceful
solution that all can abide by”
